Screen of green or ScrOG is a technique for controlling the height and width of a growing cannabis plant as well as increasing the number of colas. The term "screen of green" comes from the sea of green. Where the sea of green technique relies on many small plants in close proximity to obtain a "forest" of colas, the screen of green technique uses few plants with branches spread across a screen in order to maximize individual cola growth.
